Richmond West is a Census-designated place in south Miami-Dade. Country Walk lies to the north, and Zoo Miami occupies part of the area just to the east. Hurricane Andrew devastated the area in August 1992, including the Dadeland Mobile Home Park south of SW 152nd Street. Much of today's housing was built in the years after.
